The most exciting Saddle Club adventure yet might also be the most difficult--and this time you won't have the rest of the Saddle Club to help you. A friend of the Regnerys's has invited Stevie, Lisa, and Carole for a holiday at Willowbrook Stables on Coventry Island. But only one girl and her horse can go, so you'll have to choose which member of the Saddle Club you want to be. And once on the island you'll have to solve a baffling mystery to save Willowbrook Stables from the evil property developer trying to take over.
The island is a complex and colorful world of sights and sounds. It is home to over 30 characters, most of whom have lived there all their lives. Even though the other Saddle Club members won't be with you, you can still keep in touch and tell them all about Willowbrook Stables and your adventures.
Other horse-crazy kids on the island will help you in your quest to save the stables. The skills that Lisa, Carole, and Stevie learned at Pine Hollow will come in handy in your investigations, as horses are just as important on Coventry Island as they are in Willow Creek. Ride all over in search of golden horseshoe clues and collect important information from interesting characters. You can get additional clues and track your progress in your personal game diary.
If you solve all the clues, you'll uncover secrets that have remained hidden on Coventry Island for decades. You will have to be careful, though, as others are trying to solve the mystery, too--people who will stop at nothing to do so. If someone beats you, Willowbrook Stables will be lost forever.

It is a mixture of adventure and mystery and i recommend it highly. The overall plot of the game is good but the graphics need some improvment. The character's faces looked somewhat deformed at times and there are a few glitches. It took quite a while for me to get the hang of this game but once i had, it was quite fun. I had alot of trouble when it came to the shipwreck mystery but i finally got the hang of it. I also had a few difficulties when i had to go into the mine. I had to get cheats of a cheat site because i just couldn't find the right path! Apart from that it was fun. You get to chose your main character (Stevie, Lisa or Carole) and what colour horse they ride. You can also groom, feed and muck out. There are also a few other activities you can do throughout the game like Pony Club, photo taking and butterfly catching. I think girls from the age of 10+ would enjoy this game. I had a blast playing it, but it took a long time to play. Also, I had multiple problems starting the game at the beginning because my settings weren't set EXACTLY right. Sometimes the game freezes because you ride really fast or whatever. I really liked how you can pick any horse color, not that of the horse you are playing. What I don't like so much is how big the island is and how long it takes to go from one place to another. It's also a pain to have to go from one side of the island all the way to the other side of the island, and then back again! The cound it good and it sometimes changes with the terrain type. But I really dislike the faces. some of the charcters have see through eyeballs! Other have eyelids that are stuck closed, even though you can tell when they try to blink. This game is hard, and should only be gotten for an older kid. The misters are confusing, and you really have to think. The whole game you keep a journal that you keep notes in like, who you have met, what you have done, what needs to be done, ect. It really helps you through. Jumping is a little trickey, you have to press spacebar Wayyy ahed of the time to really make the horse jump. I ended up keeping the second one - the defective switch was the start button, which until RB3 wasn't used much. Once the family moved to playing RB3, it ended up collecting dust and I used a standard guitar controller. I really missed having the dedicated controller, so when I saw a $40 price tag on this bundle, I grabbed one hoping for better luck - and it paid off.The wireless version (the one included in this bundle) is a second-generation version of the controller, and the build quality feels much better than the original - the switches are all solid (the wired controller's were mushy) and the fret buttons are silent but responsive. The split strum bar takes some getting used to - the feel of it is halfway between the "i can't tell when it's triggering" RB guitars and the "click-click-click) of the GH ones; it takes some getting used to before you get a... My only complaint is that the distortion setting sometimes changes as you play the instrument without changing to position of the switch. The guitar that comes with the game does the same thing - but we've had that one for probably 2 years. It's not a big deal considering the price.Eventually you'll have to pay hundreds for replacement instruments, so take what you can get.
