This last recent years many game makers pumping out many games but very few of them have good game play and challenge.
By challenge i mean some difficult gameplay levels or task that must be done in order to advance to the next.
The game developers should not only focus to make pretty graphic, the most important part of game design is how to make it fun and how to give some challenge for the player so it will not get monotonous and boring. To make the game world alive is not a easy task that part is important too.
It's not so hard to be creative just experiment and invent is my advice to game makers and stop making same game every year try invent something new even if it's risky.
Don't be cheap and give the players people level editor and SDK tools so they can create content for the game to keep it alive!
Here are only game as far i know that have some good challenge and are unique:
- Mortal Kombat 2011 (Challenge Tower)
- Trials Evolution & Trials HD (All levels are very challenging)
- Scania Truck Driving Simulator (Many challenges range from navigating narrow roads)
- Hitman: Sniper Challenge (It's not a full game it's only a small DLC for pre-order buyers)
- SAW The Video Game (Have some good puzzles and challenges)
And last thing here is some real photos of my favorite super cars (Chevrolet_Corvette, MB 190E,Porsche_911) made by pro photographers notice the location and background match the car color and it's perfect combination in harmony:
