It has been a tradition at Knuffle Manor (and before that Brooklyn's Pigeon's Nest) to throw a big party once a year to celebrate the efforts of those "behind the scenes" who insure that my books, animated films, and other projects get out into the world looking a good as possible. |

I am the first to admit that when it comes to my work, I need a lot of help. Fortunately, I get it from a dedicated group of editors, art directors, PR folk, designers, producers, and agents. Thanks to them.
Sausage Fest started 6 or 7 years back and has grown every year. We serve a series of Dutch sausage-y dishes like cafe tomato/meatball soup, Suzitije Broodjes [Dutch sausage pastries], Polish Sausage, Various Cheeses, Other Sausage, Wine, Tea, cookies, and Some Sausage. For the vegetarians in the group, we let them watch (and eat chick-pea/carrot soup, salads, and sundries).
